Fried, baked, in that amazing marshmallow casserole, you can never go wrong.
Now when you toss with some syrupy maple/brown sugar/butter mixture.
Sprinkle with Nutmeg.
Get in ma belly!

I am sure it would be pretty much the same effect if you throw everything in the tray shake it around cover and bake.
But I have not tried that yet , I just go with this version.
Melt the butter.
Add brown sugar.
Drizzle syrup mixture on sweet potatoes.
Sprinkle liberally with nutmeg .. I love the penzeys nutmeg (Truly I love ALL penzeys spices)
Pop in the oven. Done.
You can bake covered with foil for the first 40 mins then uncover for the last few minutes.
Do not let them get too soft or they will be mush.
I guess when life gives you mush sweet potatoes wedges … you make mashed sweet sweet potatoes .. no?
In the end they looked kind of like fries .. could it be because I cut them unevenly?
Lets just pretend they look like wedges .. ok ..
